You drive the cars, but have you ever been to the famous factory that your car was built in? We at Petrolhead Rally are excited to offer you a great rally consisting of 6, yes 6, Supercar Factory & Museum tours over a 5-day trip. From Surrey, to Modena in Italy, you’ll get to see the new cars on the production line, and all the previous models before them.
Starting at the McLaren factory in Guildford, Surrey, you’ll get to take a look around the factory that produced the F1 and P1, before heading for Folkestone to get the Eurotunnel over onto mainland Europe on our journey to the Petrolhead Rally Château near Liège in Belgium, where we’ll have this magnificent castle – built in the mid-1800’s and overlooking the valleys of the Ardennes – all to ourselves. Recently renovated and with its own English-style pub and private chef, we’ll enjoy an evening of drinks and entertainment, and get to experience a tried and tested 4-course Michelin-star rated meal.
After a lovely continental breakfast from our chef, we’ll head for Stuttgart in Germany, where we’ll have a guided tour the Porsche factory and Museum, taking a look at the various models, past and present. After the tour, we’ll relax for the night in our first 5-star accommodation.
On day 3 we’ll leave Stuttgart and Head to Modena in Italy. Passing through Liechtenstein, Lake Como and Milan, we’ll arrive in Modena late afternoon and have time to relax with dinner and drinks at our 2nd luxury hotel.
It’s day 4 and we’ve already been to 2 factories and museums, but today we’ll be visiting the Ferrari, Lamborghini & Pagani factories and museums. From the 250 GTO to LaFerrari, the Muira to the Veneno Roadster, and the Zonda & Huayra, you’ll get to see all the cars you ever had pictures of up on your wall in the flesh!
After a day of viewing these beautiful machines and seeing where they’re built, we’ll spend another night at the hotel before continuing our journey back towards the UK.
It’s the final day of the rally and if the previous 4 days weren’t enough, we’ve got one more stop for you! Although the Bugatti factory is not open to the public and they don’t have a museum, we’ll be heading to Mulhouse in France for a look at the worlds largest collection of Buggati’s at the Musée National de l’Automobile – Collection Schlumpf, before spending the night at our final 5-star hotel.
It’s home time. Pack up your things and join us for a steady cruise home!
